| Purpose | Artificial Intelligence in Oracle Database 23ai is based built on technologies first deployed in version 8.1.5 such as GeoSpatial, interMedia (later Oracle Media),
in 10.2 such as UTL_MATCH and UTL_NLA, in 12c such as In-Memory Database, and the introduction of In-Memory Columnar Query and Compression, and more. You will find pieces of Oracle AI listed in the Related Topic box below ... but don't forget all of them are fully compatible with RMAN for back, restoration and recovery, with RAC and DataGuard for high availability, with Data Pump for export and import, with all of the performance tools such as ASH, AWR and TKPROF, and with allof the security tools and all of the Oracle Database's security architecture.
